She is also the author and composer of the Hero’s Journey in Song, and has a collaborative theater project with puppeteer Dori Mion, Third Road Theater.
Meg is a well-known musician in the quad city area, Northern Arizona, performing at PCA and other popular venues. She plays, writes, and teaches music in a variety of public venues, as well as privately in her studio, specializing in adaptive lessons for persons with special needs. If you’re lucky, you might catch her entertaining on the Grand Canyon Railway.
Overall, she is dedicated to Human Connection, Soul Exploration, and Creating Spontaneous Community.
I believe that each person contains within them spontaneous creativity, which is the impetus for healing, positive growth and meaningful connections.
The job of the music therapist is to co-create activities with the client that help bring the body, heart and mind into balance.
The creativity and connection generated can be applied to a wide range of goal areas, including physical, social, expressive, cognitive, behavioral, emotional, psychological and spiritual domains
I work and play with all kinds of humans - from infants (sometimes before they are born) to elders who are nearing the end of their time on Earth, and everybody in between.
I bring music’s healing powers to recovery centers, schools, churches, care homes and other institutions. I see my private clients and families at my studio in downtown Prescott.
